Malecón 2000

Parque Histórico
This 8-hectare site consists of 3 thematic areas: Wildlife area, a zoo surrounded by immersion mangrove forests, the Traditions area, where they have faithfully recreated a typical farmhouse and a House of Finance and Finally, Architectural Urban area for which were rescued and relocated houses of old Guayaquil.
Barrio Las Peñas
The neighborhood of Las Peñas is the oldest in the city. It is located at the foot of Cerro Santa Ana and the river Guayas. Start on the street Llona Numa Pompilius, name of Guayaquil remarkable poet of the late nineteenth to early twentieth-lived. Historically it is the most important of Guayaquil, it has houses about 100 years, with formal and structural characteristics similar to those of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
